Vineet Buch

Vineet Buch, Principal at BlueRun Ventures, focuses on Internet and Mobile Consumer Services, and Enterprise Software. Vineet joined BlueRun in 2005 and is involved with BlueRun's investments, Like.com , Slide Ugenie, Zmanda and a Stealth Mode Internet company.

Vineet joined BlueRun Ventures in 2005. Immediately before that, he co-founded Riya, a Consumer Internet company funded by BlueRun.

Prior to joining BlueRun in 2005, Vineet helped start Like.com, and before that was a Director with Product Management and Software Development responsibilities in Oracle Server Technologies, the organization that develops the Oracle Database and Application Server.

Before Oracle, Vineet was co-founder and CTO of Karient, a provider of systems management software. Vineet started Karient after serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Corio, a leading Application Service Provider since acquired by IBM. Before joining Corio, Vineet was a Practice Manager in Oracle Consulting, running a consulting practice focused on Enterprise System Architecture.

Peter Rip

Peter brings over 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, venture investor, and institutional investor. He has focused exclusively on early stage technology companies.

Before becoming a venture investor, Peter co-founded Silicon Compiler Systems, a major IC design automation software company acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1991. He began venture investing in 1992. He has specialized in investing in early stage companies, several of which have been acquired by AOL, CA, HP, Microsoft and others. Prior to joining Crosslink, Peter was a Managing Director at Leapfrog Ventures and the Managing Director of Knight Ridder Ventures.

Peter has a Ph.D. in Marketing from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Brandeis University. He has also been a member of the marketing faculty of the University of Chicago GSB.



Neil Sadaranganey

Neil is a Partner at Bay. Prior to joining the firm, Neil led the product management team responsible for GoodLink wireless email at startup Good Technology. Previously, Neil was part of the founding team at Afara WebSystems, a server startup acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002. At Sun, Neil led the team that defined the company's next-generation volume server roadmap, based on Afara's Niagara chip technology, today called UltraSparc T1. Earlier, Neil managed the enterprise software business for internet streaming media leader RealNetworks where he oversaw several successful product launches. Neil began his career as a technical consultant at Accenture and IBM Global Services, where he managed large systems integration teams.

Munjal Shah

When CEO and Co-Founder, Munjal Shah, took a look at his 38,015 and growing digital photo collection, he saw the need for a tool to help him find the photos he wanted. He also believed that there were many others out there who had the same need. With his prior experience as the CEO and Co-Founder of the successful eBay seller auction management service, Andale he knew nothing was impossible and set out to put together a team to make it happen.

Munjal has an MS in Computer Science from Stanford, a BS from UCSD and was nominated one of the top 10 "Up and Comers" in Business week in 2001 . He has previously worked for Baan, IBM and Blaxxun, and co-founded Round Zero, a Web 1.0 networking forum for early stage entrepreneurs.

Munjal is also one of those guys that everybody instantly likes. He's not only a nice guy with great ideas and passion, but he can also blog like a pro. Part of this is due to the fact that he has a passion for life and doesn't believe in limitations.



Pete Sinclair

Leapfrog Ventures

Pete Sinclair brings over 20 years of senior operating and eight years of venture capital experience to the Fund. He has been CEO of and successfully sold companies to Microsoft, Novell, and Adobe Systems, and has participated in two IPOs. He started his career with Hewlett-Packard and joined Apple Computer when it was still a small private company. He has raised money from and worked for some of the top venture capital firms.

At Leapfrog, Pete has invested in ten companies, had four exits with an IRR in excess of 30%, and has not had one of his companies fail.

Pete has a S.B. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he completed his studies in 3 years and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He is also a graduate of Stanford Business Schools Executive Program for Small Company Presidents.



Pravin Vazirani

Menlo Ventures

Pravin joined Menlo Ventures in 2001. He began his career at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he designed digital receivers for satellite communications. Later he worked as an engineer for Pacific Communication Sciences, Inc. and as a product manager for ADC Telecommunications in their Wireless Systems Group. Most recently, he evaluated investment opportunities for @Ventures, the venture capital subsidiary of CMGI.

Pravin is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.).
